PRIORITY PROGRAMS OF THE HUNGARIAN HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATION
The program aims to develop hydrogen-based freight transport and related filling infrastructure in Hungary.
Although the term “truck” is used in the name of the program, the hydrogen-based freight program extends from hydrogen-powered small vans (~ 3.5 t) to medium-sized trucks (8-16 t), and to truck segments, as well.
Hydrogen can solve many problems, support a diversified energy supply, be an engine for decarbonization, and create opportunities for economic and industrial development. Nonetheless, it is important to identify the topics, where Hungary can enter this process
Hydrogen technology can greatly transform our lives, transport, and the energy sector in the future, but the forward-looking projects launched by the members of the Alliance are essential for the development of these innovative sectors.
Many domestic development successes have been achieved among the members and successful companies of the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association. We continuously report on the most significant technical developments that have already been officially presented, be it in any field of transport.

The program is designed to enrich, expand, and enhance young people’s daily scientific and personal experience related to hydrogen technology.
An important task of the program is to create an open and supportive community among the young age group. Therefore, a Hydrogen Ambassador is appointed, being in charge with advertising the Hydrogen Technology to his/her age group. This can be done effectively at events, exhibitions, meetings, and social media.
